OGE Bill Payment Options

Online: You can save time, paper and money by paying your bill online. This service is provided to you free of charge. If you already have an online account then you will just simply need to log in. If you have not created an online account, doing so is simple. When you register for the first time, you will need to provide the activation number that is located on your billing statement. With an online account you have the ability to manage several aspects of your account. You will be able to turn on or off services, view your billing history, manage your email preferences, add/delete bank accounts and even sign up for paperless billing. Auto Pay: With Auto Pay, your bill will be deducted each month from your checking and savings account. You will continue to receive a bill that shows your usage history for the month. This billing statement will arrive to you around 10 days before it is due. This will allow you to review your bill and contact OG&E if you have any questions or concerns. To sign up for Auto Pay you must first fill out an application. Until you are fully aware that your Auto Pay is in effect you will want to to continue to make sure you make your payments as usual. Pay by Mail: If you prefer you can return your payment by mail. Every month when your billing statement is sent out it will accompany a pre-addressed envelope. You can then return the payment stub with your payment. Please be sure to allow sufficient time for your payment to arrive at the office to avoid any adverse actions that may result from a late bill.

Pay in Person: In your area you will find several authorized payment locations. At these locations there will be a Kiosk available to service your payment for you. If you complete a cash transaction, there will be a fee of $1.00. For any payment made with a credit or debit card there will be a $2.95 processing fee. Pay By Phone: You can make payments on your electric bill over the phone. If you choose to use this method, there will be a $2.95 processing fee. Omaha Public Power Bill Payment Options

Being one of the largest publicly owned electric companies in the US. OPPD offers several ways for you to make your payments on your account. Offering everything from making a one time payment to paying online, OPPD will have a method that works best for you.

Paying Online: If you have an online account already with OPPD, you will just simply need to login to your account and make your payment. If you have not created an online account you must do so, before you can make a payment online. Creating an account is simple and only take a minute to complete. You will need to provide your account number and zip code when you register.

After you do register your account you will be able to manage account information such as billing and payment history, usage history, and payment methods. Pay in Person: There are nine locations in Nebraska where you can pay your bill in person. For a complete list, you can visit here to find one near you.

Pay Over The Phone: If you would like to call and make your payment you may do so using your credit or debit card. When you call be sure to have your account number handy to make the process a little faster. If you would like to make a payment over the phone you can do so by calling 1-402-536-4131 if you live within the city limits. For areas outside of the city limits you may call 1-877-536-4131

Pay Through US Mail: If you prefer you can make your payments through the mail. Making your payments through the mail will be accepted with a check or money order. Be sure you allow plenty of time for your payment to arrive at the office to avoid any negative actions such as late fees or disconnections. Payments made through the mail can be sent to:

Automatic Payments: You can set up your account to have your payments made directly from your checking or savings account. When you want to set up automatic payments with OPPD you will need to login to your banks website and set it up with them.

One Time Payments: If you need to make a one time payment you can do so by logging into the OPPD website. You will need your account number and zip code. If you would like to make a one time payment you can do so here.

OPPD has fees that are associated with late payment, reconnections or returned check fees.
